Beautiful Bitwig Control

I’m building interface because I’ve always wanted a wireless clip launcher for recording. Simple mixer and device controls on one page is nice too. Sends on faders for band practice too. Selected track page that focuses on the selected track and reformats based on if a primary instrument device is present. And a focused mixer view with long faders.

open stage control sometimes launches with no interface.... its a known bug.... just close the window, hit stop and relaunch and it will work!!!!

I made it in a 10 x 10 grid because there are 10 faders console one. So that allows me to have a clip launcher that I can just magnet clip to the console one. I can also augment the console one by adding record arm buttons that will be laid out in the same format.

I’m planning on designing a smaller interface for phone screens. For instance, you could have all your transport controls on the phone screen and your clip launcher on the iPad at the same time. Or just a bunch of record arm buttons in a grid so you can quickly arm different things in a recording session.

Lots of cool possibilities for layouts. And now that the base of it all is feeling pretty good. I thought I should just put it up here some people could download it for a donation or whatever they can spare.

This interface template I’ve been developing for a bitwig is built on the open source platform open Stage control. It allows you to control a bitwig with parameters that are defined in the script created by driven by moss.

This is still under development, because I’ll just be using it seeing how it goes, thinking of new ideas adding them in and if you donate then I will have more incentive to keep it up and upload updates as time goes on.

You need open stage control, which is free and can be downloaded from the website. There are instructions on how to get that working. It’s easy once you have it, but I don’t think I’m going to make those instructions at this point maybe later so just seek them out for now, thanks!!!
